IbuyBlinds.com offers a free 30-day base warranty as well as optional 1,3 or 5 year warranties at minimal cost. Customers need to inspect the merchandise upon receipt; if the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was manufactured incorrectly, IbuyBlinds.com will replace at no cost to the customer.
All products at IbuyBlinds.com are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. IbuyBlinds.com processes warranty claims and requests on behalf of our customers, however the responsibility of warranty fulfillment is by the manufacturer; IbuyBlinds.com cannot be held liable for warranty. For warranty claims to be processed, all information requested by IbuyBlinds.com must be provided by the customer including requested images and/or video; IbuyBlinds.com will not process or accept any requests unless the requested information is provided. All warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, or any damage or loss caused by abuse or misuse or improper installation. All materials can lose original color intensity after long exposure to the sun. When left for extended periods in direct sunlight, plastics tend to crack. All cords and chains will eventually wear out. IbuyBlinds.com considers these issues normal wear and tear, not covered by the manufacturer warranty. If a product is defective during its warranty period IbuyBlinds.com will consult with the manufacturer and at the manufacturer's warranty options either send parts or replace the defective product without charge. IbuyBlinds.com or the manufacturer will not provide compensation for warranty installation, reinstallation, part replacement or troubleshooting; the necessary information will be provided to the customer to perform on their own.
IbuyBlinds.com reserves the right to have all warranty claims due to manufacturing defects or any other reasons shipped to IbuyBlinds.com for inspection. In such a case where an inspection is required, it is the responsibility of the customer to ship the product to IbuyBlinds.com facility for inspection. All shipping charges for shipping of the product to IbuyBlinds.com’s facility is the responsibility of the customer. If no issues or defects are found after inspection of the product, the customer is also responsible for shipping of the product back to the customer. In case of issue or defect, the product will be repaired or replaced as according to the warranty of the product and shipping charges paid to ship the product to IbuyBlinds.com will be reimbursed upon submission of the shipping receipt to IbuyBlinds.com. Reimbursement of shipping charges will only cover the fees for shipment and will not cover any additional costs such as shipping insurance or any additional options available. IbuyBlinds.com is not liable or responsible for any damages to product during shipment or if the product is lost during the shipment to IbuyBlinds.com’s facility. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure tracking of the shipment to the IbuyBlinds.com facility.
